"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper
time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore,
as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially
those who belong to the family of believers,"
This is the essence of the
pastoral work which we are committed to at St. Peter's. We
have a group of people who visit the shut-ins or those hospitalized
and offer them prayer and the sacrament of Holy Communion. We
often phone to check on those whom we have not seen at Sunday
services and pray for any needs over the phone. We hope that
this ministry is a blessing to those who receive it, and we know
that we are surely blessed by being with them.
